From Torrance, California comes indie rock band Joyce Manor, originally formed in 2008. They released their self-titled full-length debut album in 2011 to universal praise. The album was named by Punknews as their 2011 Album of the Year. Their second album Of All Things I will Soon Grow Tired, hit shelves in April 2012 and featured a cover of The Buggles' "Video Killed the Radio Star." Their third album, Never Hungover Again, dropped in 2014 followed by their fourth album Cody in 2016. The band includes Barry Johnson on lead vocals and guitar, Chase Knobbe on guitar, Matt Ebert on bass and backing vocals and Pat Ware on drums. The idea for the name Joyce Manor came from the name of an apartment building near Johnson's house.
